The Farm

Our farm is a quiet forest in the midst of bustling Bangalore - the silicone valley of India. Driving towards the city from Kempegowda Airport in 20 minutes you will be enveloped in our green oasis.

Our groves are spread across 33 acres and are home to six native varieties of mangoes, coconut palms, chikoo, jackfruit, jamun, avocado, tamarind and moringa trees. Our trees stand along side one another all sharing the same soil with the fauna.

Native Gir and Halikar cows walk this land. Their manure returns as compost and organic nutrition to the soil. Their milk becomes our butter, ghee, youghurt and more.  The kitchen garden grows on raised beds, nourished entirely by compost — no harmful chemicals.

Our Hydrolore hydroponic pods extend this further, growing diverse crops on a quarter of the water ground farming requires. Together, these approaches form a closed loop. What leaves the kitchen returns to the soil. What leaves the soil returns to the kitchen.

The Farm

The farm at Farmlore is a working landscape shaped by coexistence. Orchards, livestock, and seasonal crops exist within a broader ecosystem, where multiple species share the same land and the soil is allowed to regenerate through diversity. Native cows support this cycle through composting systems and natural preparations, while chemical free practices ensure the land remains active and self sustaining.

The kitchen garden is designed to protect as much as it produces. Raised beds prevent soil erosion, water is used with restraint, and organic matter is returned to the earth through composting. What leaves the kitchen finds its way back to the soil, creating a continuous exchange between land and table.

Alongside this, hydroponic systems explore more efficient ways of growing, using significantly less water while supporting a range of crops. Together, these approaches form a closed loop system where the farm feeds the kitchen, the kitchen feeds the soil, and nothing exists in isolation.
