As an 18 seater restaurant, each service involves careful planning and preparation in advance. We appreciate your understanding in allowing us to maintain the integrity of the experience for all guests.
Dining Etiquette — FAQ
What should I expect from the dining format?
Farmlore is experienced as a tasting degustation menu. The meal follows a structured sequence, allowing dishes to be served and enjoyed as intended by the kitchen.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least fifteen minutes before your reservation. You are also welcome to arrive earlier and spend time walking through the farm before being seated.
What happens if I arrive late?
As the experience is carefully timed, late arrivals can be difficult to accommodate. Much like arriving late to a performance, parts of the meal may not be able to be repeated or adjusted once service has begun.
Can dietary preferences be accommodated?
Dietary preferences and allergies must be shared at the time of booking. We are able to accommodate vegetarian preferences, but are unable to offer vegan menus or make significant changes to the menu once it has been set.
Do you offer custom or special menus?
The menu is designed as a complete experience and is not offered in multiple variations. Our menus evolve regularly and change each month. For bespoke formats, we offer curated experiences through private dining and special events.
Is the experience suitable for children?
The format and pacing of the meal are best suited to older diners. We currently welcome guests aged ten years and above.
Do you serve all types of meat?
Farmlore does not serve beef or chicken. The menu is shaped by ingredient availability and the philosophy of the kitchen.
Is there a dress code?
There is no formal dress code. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear if you plan to walk through the farm.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made up to 72 hours prior to the reservation are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 to 48 hours may be rescheduled to a later date, subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reservation are non refundable. Special events are non cancellable and non refundable.
